Helen Juzaitis

"Painting provides me inner peace, joy of expression, and much satisfaction."

"My first successful venture into art occurred when I was six years old: I won a contest for coloring Santa and his reindeer! Who knew what the future would bring…..?

Although an elementary school educator by degree and profession, I have always enjoyed exploring and blending vivid colors in various forms of expression: first in knitting, then quilting, then weaving, and finally acrylic painting on canvas. I naturally gravitate toward abstract art, as it enables free expression. Painting provides me inner peace, joy of expression, and much satisfaction as I see my projects take shape and develop on canvas. These days, I look forward for opportunities to learn new techniques and approaches, allowing me to hone my skills further, as well as opening possibilities for new directions to follow."
