"Having spent my professional life caring for the visual health of my patients as an ophthalmologist and retinal specialist, I have often wondered about what those of us with good vision ignore or don't see. This curiosity naturally attracted me to photograph things that are often not visually obvious. Over the past 15 years, my mentors have been stellar figures in the photographic world, including John Paul Caponigro, Elizabeth Opalenik, Keith Carter, Joyce Tennyson, Dan Burkholder, and many others.
I have been privileged to have a solo show at the Canton Museum of Art in 2001 and a permanent collection at the Congress Lake Club. My work has received recognition in photographic competitions and has been published in the periodical "Popular Photography" in 2002. I have been represented in galleries in Nantucket, MA and Cleveland, OH, as well as many private collections."
